All summer long Spirit drum set player Arthur Johnson thrilled audiences across the country as part of the 2009 Live...In Concert! tour, but it was in Indianapolis at the DCI Individual Solo Competition that Arthur impressed judges with his skills. Arthur was named the DCI Multi-Percussion World Champion during I & E Competition on August 5 in front of a packed room of fans and judges. Performing an original composition, Arthur showed exceptional skills scoring a 99 out of a possible 100 points topping performers from other Open and World Class corps.
