Proving that late is indeed better than never, I am particularly proud to announce this year's picnic.

Alumni, members, friends, family and fans are invited to enjoy themselves and the corps as our guests. We especially encourage current members to bring their folks (parents, grandparents, significant others, etc), so they can acquaint themselves with Spirit, and know their young people are in good hands for the summer.

Our crack team of smoked meat professionals will render the finest cuts of beef and pork into the most delectable offering this side of the hallowed hill of Dreamland.

What will our guests need to bring? A chair and some cool drinks (while there will be a drink served with the meal, it has been known to warm up in late May in Alabama). As our honored guests, there will be no charge for the meal.

This is a no alcohol event.

Look for the Spirit souvenir trailer, which will open the season. The latest in T-shirts and accoutrements will be offered.
