Are you planning to audition for a leadership position in your school music program? Do you want to strengthen your leadership skills or need help setting and achieving goals? This unique program is specifically designed to help prepare you for spring leadership auditions at your school and give you the advantage to be the leader you want to be. Open to any music or color guard student, this clinic will address:

• goal setting and motivating your peers
• identifying your leadership style
• conducting technique
• leadership audition tips and techniques

Attendees will have an opportunity to observe Spirit of Atlanta rehearsals, interact with members, and work with these inspiring clinicians:

• Freddy Martin, Director Emeritus, Spirit of Atlanta; DCI Hall of Fame Member; Band Director, The Westminster Schools
• Dr. Mark Waymire, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education, University of Southern Mississippi; Director of Education and Programming, Spirit of Atlanta
• Dr. Todd Snead, Executive Director, Spirit of Atlanta 
• Andrew Putnam, Brass Caption Head, Spirit of Atlanta
• Chris Hestin, Percussion Caption Head, Spirit of Atlanta 
• Devon Schmidt, 2012 Drum Major, Spirit of Atlanta

Both options include instruction, materials, two (2) meals, and a t-shirt.
