Delta Brass is an elite group of professional musicians dedicated to spreading the joy of music throughout Georgia and the surrounding region. This dynamic brass quintet offers a wide variety of services to the community including performances at music festivals and concerts, educational clinics and master classes for students of all ages, and music entertainment for special occasions, private parties, and corporate functions.
Delta Brass is an outreach program associated with Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps – a nonprofit youth performing arts education organization whose primary objective is to provide challenging, high-quality programs for youth through a positive environment that emphasizes character and social development, leadership, self-discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. Known for its soulful Southern sound, Spirit has been entertaining audiences in Atlanta and all over the country for over 35 years. Delta Brass brings the attitude and flavor of Spirit of Atlanta in a smaller package and is perfectly suited to entertain and educate audiences in almost any venue.
Members of the Delta Brass include alumni of the Spirit of Atlanta organization who have honed their skills as musicians and joined other professionals to share their talents with the community. In an effort to give back for all that Spirit provided them as aspiring young musicians, proceeds from Delta Brass performances help fund scholarships that directly aid current Spirit of Atlanta participants who need financial assistance.
