Percussion Caption Head and Battery Arranger Chris Hestin returns to Spirit of Atlanta for his second season. Joining Chris again this year is Front Ensemble Coordinator and Arranger Chad Heiny and Consultant Dr. Omar Carmenates. "Chris, Chad, and Omar bring a wealth of creativity, skill, and professionalism to our organization. Most of the 2011 Percusssion Staff will also be returning this year: Ben Pyles (Battery Coordinator & Tenors), Chris Garay (Snares), Kevin Thorburn (Snares), and Dustin Lowes (Basses). New members to the battery staff include Cory Lopez (Tenors) and Jack Borland (Cymbals). The front ensemble will be instructed by returning staff members Erik Kosman, Steve Rodgers, Alan Fear, and Michael Dooley.
