Spirit of Atlanta Alumni

Welcome to the Spirit of Atlanta Alumni Portal. In the past few years, the Spirit Organization has made tremendous efforts to re-energize the “Spirit” of our alumni fan base, and cultivate a feeling of family among our alumni, corps members, volunteers and friends. The Organization has taken a positive step toward success by moving the corps back to the City of Atlanta. Starting in the 2011 season, we will all have the pleasure of hearing “SPIRIT of Atlantaaaaa—you may take the field for competition”. That’s right fellow alums the official name of the corps is once again Spirit of Atlanta, from Atlanta, Georgia. We hope that this exciting news will encourage every alumnus to participate and strengthen the support of our beloved Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps!

The Spirit of Atlanta Alumni Association will be a successful, hands-on alumni association with the dedication and support of our alumni base. It is our priority to participate and be a positive influence to the success of our drum corps. We encourage everyone who has had the pleasure of marching with the Spirit of Atlanta, Spirit of Georgia, Spirit from JSU, and Spirit to please re-commit your time, efforts and skills to the corps! The SOAAA must be as competitive with our support for the corps, as we want our corps to be in DCI competition. We have the opportunity to increase the competitive momentum of our corps by simply being active and productive alumni.

As you read the exciting staff and show announcements on the front page of the this website we hope you will be intrigued with all the amazing things going on with our corps this year. If you feel out-of-the loop, a great way to re-connect and catch-up with your Spirit Family is to visit a Spirit camp. We love welcoming new and familiar faces of the alumni to camps, and the corps members love entertaining us. Come and be a part of the Baby Blue tradition, meet and greet with your Spirit Family, and make yourselves at home. After all, we are the Spirit of Atlanta Alumni and with the return of the corps to its birthplace and name—it’s time for us to celebrate and show our support!!! GO BABY BLUE
