Lindsey comes to Spirit of Atlanta from Birmingham, AL where he teaches Elementary Music and serves as the Visual Coordinator for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Marching Blazers. Lindsey’s drum corps experience began when he first saw the DCI World Finals broadcast on Public Television even before he started middle school. He went on to march through high school and college playing trumpet and euphonium and serving two years as conductor. He also spent a season with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in Dubuque, IA as a member of the Color Guard. During SOA’s 2011 season, he served as the Head Cook for the corps and continues to work in that capacity coupled with his new appointment as Membership Coordinator.
