Pepe Ochoa

Pepe Ochoa is a native of Las Cruces, NM, and is a recent graduate of The University of Arizona with a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance. While attending the University of Arizona, Pepe served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for The Pride of Arizona Marching Band and Pep Bands. His involvement musically not only entailed Wind and Jazz Ensemble playing but also many performances and collaborations with the Choir, Orchestra, and Dance Department. He also holds a Bachelors of Music Education degree from New Mexico State University.

Pepe’s visual performance experience has been with Northern Lights Independent World Guard from Portland, OR (2005-2006), as well as The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2001-2004), serving as Guard Sergeant for the 2004 Championship season.

He is an active designer, director, choreographer, clinician, adjudicator, and technician throughout the United States working with many programs that have been quite successful within the WGI and BOA arenas.

Currently, Pepe is the Director of the Walton High School Color Guard and Dance Company and a staff member for the Paramount Independent World Guard both based in Atlanta, GA. He most recently has worked on staff with The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps (2008-2010), as well as The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2005-2006).
