Dan Adams
Visual Caption Head
Dan Adams is a full-time visual instructor in the Southern California area. Holding a degree in Music Education from CSUSB, he has served as both a visual instructor as well as caption head for many high school marching programs throughout the state of California – including Rancho Cucamonga, Oak Grove, Nogales, and Fountain Valley High School. Some of his students' highest achievements include Championship performances in 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2010, as well as many first and second place finishes in visual performance throughout the years. He owes considerable credit - for his love of the activity and for music education- to the Santa Clara Vanguard organization where he was a marching member from 2001 to 2006. After serving his last two years as horn sergeant in the A-corps, Dan joined the brass staff of the Vanguard Cadets from 2007-2009. By 2008 the Vanguard Cadets had won their second Championship and captured the Division II high brass title, only to follow as a Silver medalist in 2009. Having worked with Spirit of Atlanta in 2010, and the Academy visual program for their 2011 season, Dan Adams is proud to once again be rejoining the Spirit of Atlanta team with renewed vigor meant for even further competitive success in 2012.
