Jason Sneath
Jason Sneath is currently in his fifth year as Assistant Director of Bands at George Walton Academy in Monroe, GA. During his time at GWA, the bands have garnered numerous accolades including the 2010 USSBA Class 6 National Championship held in Annapolis, MD and have been four-time GISA Champions in the past five years. Additionally, his concert bands have been awarded with superior ratings several times during his tenure. Prior to his appointment at George Walton, Jason was a teacher at various band programs in the metro-Atlanta area. As a marching member, Jason performed with the 1990 SPIRIT of ATLANTA Drum and Bugle Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Kennesaw State University and has done additional course-work at the University of Georgia where he was also a member of the Sudler Award winning Redcoat Band. Active as a clinician throughout the southeast, Jason holds memberships in GMEA, MENC, National Bandmasters Association, and is an alumnus of Phi Mu Alpha. Jason is excited to be joining the brass staff of SPIRIT of ATLANTA as the corps returns home.
