Guard Instructor

Josh began his color guard career with his high school winter guard program at Clearwater High School, where he was part of the guard for two years. In 2004, Josh graduated from high school and continued his performance experience with the Capital Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and was a proud member of the perennial WGI world-class finalist "The Knights Winter Guard" from 2005-2009. Josh's first teaching experience brought him back home to Clearwater High School for five successful seasons and has since been with the seven-time Florida State Champion East Lake Marching Band and Color Guard since 2008. Under Josh's leadership, the color guard program has begun to flourish and returned to the winter guard arena and was awarded the FFCC Class AAA gold medal. Josh also has worked with the WGI world-class finalist Seminole High School Winter Guard program. Josh has a degree in elementary education from St. Petersburg College and works in Pinellas County. This is Josh's third year with Spirit of Atlanta!
