Ryan Valencia
Choreographer
Ryan Valencia has been involved with color guard since 1997. His marching experience includes St. Augustine HS Coast One Winter guard (1997-2000), Ancient City Ensemble (2001), Northeast Independent (2002-2003), and Northern Lights (2005-2006). He was a member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for 4 years (1999, 2001, 2003, 2004). Originally from Florida, Ryan has worked with many programs throughout the region and nationwide. He was an instructor with Marching Auxiliaries in 2002. Since living in the Northwest, he has worked with Evergreen HS, Century HS, Centennial HS, Summit winterguard, Cascades Independent, Oregon Crusaders and as assistant director of North by Northwest. Currently, he is on the design staff with Glencoe HS and caption head at Skyview HS, as well as working as a choreographer for Rhapsody World winterguard. Ryan resides in Portland, OR, where he is pursuing a degree in Business and Sustainability at Portland State University.
